Australia 'invasion' day

On Sunday, thousands held rallies across Australia to oppose the celebration of Australia Day, saying that it must be designated a day of mourning.

January 26th marks the anniversary of the First Fleet’s arrival in Port Jackson, New South Wales, which many aboriginal and non-aboriginal Australian citizens call Invasion Day or Survival Day. The opponents of the day say the British colonialism in the Australian land started on that day.
